CCs are adult live-in campus staff that serve as students' and families' first point of contact for their time at NCSSM., They also serve as first responders for emergencies. CCs build community on their halls through fun, wellness, and educational activities. They provide one-on-one support to students with personal counseling, by connecting them to resources, and by mediating conflict.

Hello! My name is Aida and I was born and raised in North Carolina, on unceded Tuscarora and Lumbee land (Cary, NC). I majored in International Comparative Studies and minored in Asian American Studies and Visual Media Studies at Duke University- where I graduated in December 2025. I love writing letters to friends while enjoying 3 beverages simultaneously (water, coffee, and tea), collecting toys (squishies, blind boxes, stuffies) to place across my belongings, and all/any arts and crafts!

I’m from Greensboro and I love shopping, getting boba/Playa with my friends, and roaming around 9th street and Duke campus. I can’t wait to meet every single one of you guys this year.
